This was one of my favorite projects: designing a five-day program for East African girls to learn leadership and climate justice through art. It was a fun and impactful experience, especially creating opportunities for the girls to build confidence in advocacy. CAI has continued using my curriculum in subsequent years.

As a Peace Corps Response volunteer in Ukraine, I served as a teacher trainer at Ternopil National Economics University, where I developed curricula and facilitated professional development for educators. Following the Maidan Revolution, I was evacuated, but I was determined to return and complete my service. I returned to support my colleagues and empower teachers despite the challenges posed by the political unrest.

The program deepened my understanding of global education systems, policy development, and challenges faced by underserved communities. Surrounded by diverse experts and peers, I was inspired and further committed to making a meaningful impact in global education. It’s an experience I’ll always cherish.

Earning my Theater Education degree from Emerson College sparked my creativity in instructional design. The program emphasized storytelling, performance, and interactive learning, which shaped how I create engaging, dynamic educational experiences. By blending artistic techniques with pedagogy, I learned to foster an inclusive, immersive learning environment that encourages active participation and connection with the material.
